Eventuri Carbon Turbo Intake Pipe for Toyota GR Yaris & GR Corolla

Optimize the air supply to the turbo of your Toyota GR Yaris or GR Corolla with the Eventuri carbon turbo intake pipe. This completely redesigned turbo tube replaces the restrictive original intake pipe and ensures a larger air volume, a more efficient airflow, and a noticeably faster throttle response.

Eventuri did not simply enlarge the original turbo intake, but completely redesigned the entire structure. The focus was on increasing the available airflow without causing turbulence. The result is a smoothly shaped intake pipe with a significantly larger internal volume and an optimized connection to the turbocharger.

Up to nearly 70% more internal air volume

The internal volume of the original turbo intake pipe is approximately 1,300 cm³. With the Eventuri carbon turbo tube, this has been increased to no less than 2,200 cm³. This represents an increase of nearly 70%.

The lower section of the intake pipe in particular, around the key bend just before the turbo, has been significantly improved. The original Toyota intake is relatively narrow at this point, thereby restricting airflow. The larger Eventuri design creates a larger air reservoir directly in front of the turbo, allowing the turbo to draw in air faster and more easily.

This reduces the required wastegate duty cycle and ensures that the desired turbo boost is reached earlier in the rev range. While driving, this is noticeable as a more direct throttle response and stronger pulling power in the mid-range.

Power gain and faster turbo response

During development and testing, the following power gains were measured:

• Up to approximately 14 Whp power gain in the mid-range
• Up to approximately 19 ft-lb of extra torque in the mid-range
• Approximately 9 Whp of extra power at peak speed
• Approximately 9 ft-lb of extra torque at peak RPM
• Reaching maximum turbo pressure sooner
• Reduced restriction before the turbo
• Sharper and more direct throttle response

The biggest improvement is particularly noticeable during acceleration from low and medium RPMs. The turbo can spool up faster because a larger amount of air is immediately available.

Prepreg carbon construction

The primary intake pipe is manufactured from high-quality prepreg carbon fiber. This material combines low weight with very high stiffness. As a result, the pipe cannot deform or sag due to the vacuum created when the turbo draws in large amounts of air under load.

In addition to the functional benefits, the carbon construction gives the engine bay of the GR Yaris or GR Corolla an exclusive and high-quality appearance.

The carbon turbo tube is connected to a specially developed nitrile rubber elbow. This hose is resistant to high temperatures, oil vapors, and the stress generated within the turbo intake system. At the end, there is a precision CNC-machined aluminum flange that is mounted directly onto the turbo.

Suitable for future turbo upgrades

The Eventuri turbo intake pipe features a modular design. The CNC-machined connection to the turbo can be replaced individually. This allows the intake pipe to be used in combination with larger hybrid turbochargers as well.

Consequently, the entire carbon intake pipe does not need to be replaced during a future turbo upgrade. Only the matching CNC flange is required. Alternative flanges for various turbo configurations are available separately.

Why choose the Eventuri turbo intake pipe?

The original turbo intake presents a limitation, particularly around the bend in front of the turbo. Eventuri has completely redesigned this section and significantly enlarged it. As a result, the turbo has a larger air supply immediately and does not have to work as hard to build up the desired turbo pressure.
