Do not assume that parts for the BMW G20 or G21 are interchangeable with G50 components either. A similar product name or shape does not establish whether a part will fit or mount correctly on the new generation.

Look beyond appearance and consider how the product is constructed. A replacement component is installed differently from an overlay. Carbon laminated over an existing base part also has a different construction from a replacement part made entirely from carbon.

A clear product description should explain what is supplied, which components are replaced and how installation is carried out. With a front lip, the remaining ground clearance also matters in everyday driving, particularly over speed bumps and on steep driveways.
