Koshi McLaren MP4-12C carbon steering trim MCL-02 2012-2015

Koshi MCL-02 gives the McLaren MP4-12C steering spokes a continuous carbon finish. The shaped cover surrounds the three-arm centre while leaving the round central area clear. Two smaller openings follow the upper side spokes; the frame extends down to the third spoke. Carbon emphasises the original sports wheel shape while the wheel rim remains outside this trim piece.

Material and specification

Koshi makes MCL-02 from prepreg carbon cured in an autoclave at 140°C and 6 bar. The gloss clear finish reveals the structure over the three connected arms. It is specified as a cover for the original steering trim, not a complete replacement wheel.

Installation and application

The application is McLaren MP4-12C 2012–2015 with the pictured spoke shape. The central opening and three arms define positioning. Carbon shift paddles in installation images are another product. This cover does not change airbag or shift-control functions.
