The Akrapovič Slip-On Line Titanium for the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ is a high-performance sports exhaust for those seeking more sound, a more exclusive look, and a significant upgrade over the original exhaust system.

The complete exhaust system is manufactured from high-quality titanium and is finished with four bumper-mounted tailpipes. The outer part of the tailpipes is handcrafted from carbon fiber, while the inner part is made of titanium. As a result, the system perfectly complements the sporty character of the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53.

This Akrapovič exhaust is suitable for both the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupé C236 and the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Cabriolet A236.

Akrapovič sound for the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53

During the development of this exhaust system, much attention was paid to the sound experience. Special collectors in both silencers reduce unwanted flow noise, while internal cones function as acoustic reflectors.

As a result, a portion of the exhaust sound is deliberately directed towards the interior, creating a clearer and more intense sound experience for the driver.

The sound changes depending on engine speed and load. During gentle driving and at a constant speed, the sound remains comfortable and refined. As soon as driving becomes more spirited, the CLE 53 develops a significantly more powerful and dramatic sound.

Active exhaust valves

The Akrapovič Slip-On Line system features two electronically controlled exhaust valves.

In combination with the included Akrapovič control unit, various driving parameters are continuously monitored. Based on this, it is precisely determined when the exhaust valves open and close.

This creates a balanced sound that automatically adapts to the driving style and load of the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53.

Full titanium construction

The exhaust system is manufactured entirely from high-quality titanium. Akrapovič is known for the use of lightweight materials and high-quality production techniques that are also applied in motorsport.
