This prepreg dry-carbon lid replaces the original front luggage lid on the stated McLaren models. The product images show a fully formed panel with two ventilation openings and a finished inner structure. It is therefore the complete replacement lid rather than a decorative cover placed over the existing panel.

The lid at the front

Article CFHMC56xx sits at the front above the luggage compartment. The term engine hood can be misleading for this component: it is the front boot lid, not a cover over the rear-mounted engine. That position matters when comparing carbon body panels for the McLaren.
