Akrapovic Evolution linkpipe for the BMW G80 and G82 M4 is designed to be used with their Slip-On muffler. The exhaust is designed for the G8X M3/M4 with OPF/GPF and also without the OPF/GPF. The Evolution linkpipe upgrades the Slip-On system to the Evolution system, which consists of a slip-on rear muffler and larger Evolution linkpipe pipes with a center muffler.
It is made entirely of titanium. The entire system is designed to provide the smoothest exhaust flow. The power and torque gains of the G8x M3/M4 Competition with the combination of the Slip-On Line system and Evolution link pipe kit are guaranteed. In-depth engineering has produced a unique sound profile, distinctly different from the standard system, delivering a deep and sporty sound without unwanted overtones or drone and an almost racing sound. In addition, a significant change in the sound with the valves in the open or closed positions.
When installing the Akrapovič Evolution linkpipe set on a car with OPF/GPF, rewriting the ECU is mandatory or an OPF dummy can be installed to avoid possible "check engine light" warning signals.
