The Audi 8V RS3 & TTRS Gen-2 Eventuri cold air intake was developed to achieve two main objectives. Limit the turbo inlet path and maintain low inlet temperatures.

The first goal was achieved by using 88mm internal diameter tubing all the way to the turbo and using the unique Venturi housing to maintain laminar flow. The second goal was achieved by designing a sealed system for the cold air supply, which prevents the turbo from drawing heated air from the engine compartment. The inlet duct draws air from the supply and is maximized in volume to allow the highest flow rate through the filter. The resulting performance gains and aesthetics are class-leading for the 8V RS3.
