This Koshi carbon surround visually connects the left and right steering controls. Its broad arch runs around the wheel centre and extends into the frames beside the buttons. The large central opening and horizontal cut-outs create the component’s distinctive shape. Carbon therefore follows the spoke controls rather than the outer steering rim.

Koshi BMW-018FB is intended for BMW E39, E46 and E53 X5 with the illustrated button layout. Other surrounds exist for this wheel family; this particular item is the version with openings around the controls. The original steering trim remains underneath the carbon overlay.

The part uses prepreg carbon cured in an autoclave and finished with gloss clear coat. The visible carbon pattern connects both sides along the upper arch.
