Audi RS3 Sedan 8Y Akrapovic exhaust system

Product description

This product is made with high quality titanium pipes and a muffler, which are attached to the car's standard downpipes with a high quality titanium connecting pipe and finished with handmade carbon exhaust pipes and a titanium inner sleeve.

This system weighs 44.1% lighter than the standard configuration and delivers a power gain of 7.5 kW (10.2 hp) at 5,450 rpm and a torque increase of 8.8 Nm at 3,900 rpm (when tested on the Akrapovič test bench at a Audi RS 3 with a standard standard exhaust).

The in-house foundry casts the housings for the two exhaust valves, one for each side of the muffler, to tailor the sound. The signature notes of the five-cylinder engine provide a relaxing and pleasant hum in comfort mode, with a tasteful reminder of the car's potential when cruising in dynamic mode, and then the full sound experience is delivered when accelerating and reaching the limit. A high-gloss handcrafted carbon fiber rear diffuser is available as an option, as is the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit for complete control over the exhaust notes.

The exhaust system is ECE type-approved for cars equipped with an Otto/petrol particulate filter.
