A carbon engine cover for the Toyota GR Yaris

Koshi YAR-47 replaces the original Toyota GR Yaris plastic engine cover with a formed carbon component. Its profiled surface follows the raised areas and cut-out contours of the cover. The carbon finish sits inside the engine bay, in the position occupied by the original cover above the engine.

Two listed designs

The standard carbon version carries code YAR-47. The Japanese flag option is YAR-47.JP and adds the flag motif to the carbon finish. Both are offered on this product page. Select the design in the variant choices; the flag is a specific version rather than a separate decoration supplied with every cover.

Replacing the original plastic part

Koshi describes this as a replacement for the OEM cover. It is an engine cover beneath the bonnet. The manufacturer uses prepreg carbon, autoclave curing and gloss clear coating. Compare the pictured engine-cover profile with the original GR Yaris component.
