Koshi carbon grille frame covers BMW 1 Series E81 E87 LCI

Product description

Koshi carbon grille frame covers BMW 1 Series E81 E87 LCI

These Koshi carbon covers change the appearance of the BMW kidney grille borders. The shaped left and right surrounds follow the full outline, from the broad upper edge to the rounded corners. Visible carbon contrasts with the surrounding bodywork and emphasises the familiar twin-kidney design.

Overlays for the existing frames

This is Koshi BMW-049 for the BMW 1 Series E81, E87 and E87 LCI. The manufacturer describes the parts as covers for the original components. They dress the grille surrounds, while the open centres retain the existing grille layout. Their particular frame profile distinguishes this item from other 1 Series kidney shapes.

Gloss carbon finish

Koshi manufactures the covers from prepreg carbon cured in an autoclave. The high-gloss clear finish leaves the carbon pattern visible around the curved corners as well as the straighter edges. Both surrounds share this finish, bringing the left and right sides together as one coordinated front-end detail. The set focuses on the kidney borders of the listed E81/E87 configuration.
