Beneath the rear lid of the Alfa Romeo 4C, the engine covering forms a recognisable exposed surface. Koshi AR4C-001 replaces the original cover frame with a shaped carbon component. Its raised centre, large opening and contoured side areas follow the layout of the illustrated covering.

Replacing the cover frame itself

The manufacturer identifies this as an OEM replacement. It is therefore not carbon film or a small decorative plate applied to the existing cover. Koshi uses prepreg carbon cured in an autoclave and rates installation as normal. The original connections around the covering remain relevant when positioning this shaped component.

Carbon, Matt or Furia

The existing finish choices are Carbon, Matt and Furia. Select the desired appearance for this engine cover frame; the matte choice should not be represented as high gloss. The article changes the exposed covering without implying a different engine capacity or performance improvement. The exterior engine lid and rear luggage side strips are different components.
