Akrapovic perfectly shaped the evolution exhaust system for the Mercedes E63 AMG Sedan W213 , using specially developed ultra-lightweight titanium alloys and finished with handcrafted matte carbon fiber tailpipes. The system replaces both the basic exhaust and the versions fitted to the Mercedes-AMG E 63 and E 63 S. This blackout system includes parts cast in the company's own foundry, with an active X connection and an additional pair of exhaust valves behind the rear mufflers, designed to provide optimal control over the exhaust sound for the best listening pleasure.

With two defined sound signatures and three different driving sound settings, the system is perfectly tuned to deliver the best sound in all modes. The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit controller allows the user to choose the exhaust tone regardless of the vehicle's chosen mode and is a recommended upgrade when replacing the base exhaust system. An increase in performance and torque and a huge weight saving of over 45% makes this a very serious performance upgrade. Since it is ECE type approved without remapping the ECU or adding other parts, it is just a simple plug and play installation.
